1. What strategy did you use to claim land?
To the claim teh land we first went straight to where our card wanted to get the most, for us we had to get the suez canal so we went straight to the area we needed then branched out and go the bits that we wanted.
2. What factors did you consider in claiming land?
We considered Population, natural resources and useful things such as most of the coast, useful for getting into a country so we went straight to the coastal areas and therefore we controlled nearly all of the transport in and out of Africa.
3. Who won the Scramble for Africa?
I think that britan won, because they controled most of teh coastal areas, part of teh nile and most of the area where the diamonds and useful natural resources were.
4. Who lost in the Scramble for Africa?
I think Belguim lost because, the controlled pretty useless parts of africa i mean there were no precious gems around that area, so they were not making much money/profit from owning that piece of land and they didn't own any of the coast so anyone could get closed to africa without them having any say in to it.

“Violence leads to more violence.”
The saying is true because, in Julius Caesar, Caesar is murdered, which makes the citizens of Rome angry which leads to them becoming violent and trying to kill the conspirators. This also applies in my family because, If I get angry with my sister and shout then she will shout back, I think this happens because its a natural instinct, no one likes to get hurt or be shouted at so they argue or fight back.
In conclusion violence does lead to more violence.
