Roller Coaster

As I took my seat on the long blue, trial of carriage I felt my heart jump into my throat. The safety belts lowered, and several people start checking them to make sure everyone was safely succured in to the carriages. I looked across to my dad who grinned at me and said "You ready?", before I had time to answer the train wizzed out of the station and up the hill and the corner. I opened my mouth to scream, but the words wouldn't come out. I took a deep breath in, the air tasted sweet and humid. At that very moment I felt my stomach jump up into my chest I closed my eyes and gripped on to the handle bars tight, I felt my stomach jump in to my chest again. I opened my eyes and relised that I had just been around two loops of track I suddenly felt my voice come back and I let out the loudest scream i could so loud I though my throat might burst. As we pulled back in to the station with a hult, I turned around and looked back. The train stopped i pulled my self out of the carriage and back onto the platform. "So how did that fell, your first roller coaster?" my dad asked "Amazing" I replied.

A Fruit Roll Up.

As I tore open the fruit roll up, i was silent, the sound of ripping from the plastic wrapper was not much, but enough so that is could hear it. The next thing i noticed was the smell, it was like being hit by a bat, the smell over welemed me, the sweet smell driffted from the wrapper and into the air, every breath i took i could smell the sickly sweetness. as i peered inside the packet i looked at the fruit roll up, it was a disgusting blue and purple, like the colour paint goes when you mix it with other colours. I picked up the fruit roll up and touch it, it was cold and clammy, and ever so sticky. i pulled of a bit of the sticky sheet of fake fruit, it was a whole new experience although it looked disguisting, felt disgusting it tasted amazing.

I learn Best Visually and Kinesthetic.

If i am studying for a quiz/test, i learn best visually. If i am learning about something in science i learn best by actually doing it for myself because sometimes when i'm asked a question i don't actually understand it, until i either look at it written down, or by actually doing what the asks.

To help me learn best in class you could write down the questions on the board because i forget quite easily.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Necessity is the mother of invention
Everything that has ever been made, has been needed by someone. If someone needs something then someone will build it. When people needed to see at night, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. When someone wanted to communicate efficiently and quickly to someone else, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. When people wanted to go abroad and see the world, Orville and Wilbur Wright invented the Aeroplane.

To me the words Necessity is the mother of invention, means that if anyone needs something then, it will be invented, by someone else as soon as possible, especially if the person that needs it, is willing to pay!

My Gang

My gang lives in Hong Kong, although we went to different schools we meet up twice a day ever school day.
My gang members names were, Kyra, Lydia, Oscar, Ankesh And Me.

Kyra was in the Gang because, she was the gang clown, She made everyone laugh all the time and she would be there for you when you needed it most, Kyra and I were also the gang leaders because we were oldest, and it worked with two leaders because Kyra and I were inseperably we were best friends. Lydia is my year younger sister, she was the one who would always have your back, if you needed something sorted out you called for Lydia, she was the brave and tough one, who no one would argue with, except me!

Oscar, was the smart one that could explain absolutly anything to you, but in words everyone could understand, He was also Lydia's boyfriend, so no one argued with him either, except me! Ankesh was the male version of the gang clown, he could make you laugh to the point of crying.

And then there was me, I was the sensible one that NO ONE at all argued with! I made sure that everyone was keeping a level head on things.

My first impression of Humanities was that we would be working hard, and thinking a lot.

-What are two goals you have for this quarter in Humanities? (Remember a goal needs to be specific, realistic, and measurable)
